Tierra Pottery Studio
We offer a kiln firing service for those who just need access to a kiln.
It’s ideal for home potters—whether you’re hand-building or throwing
who don’t have their own kiln.
It’s also a great way to save on costs and
energy by sharing kiln space.
Our studio is equipped with a Nabertherm
top 60L kiln, With a firing temperature of up to 1320°C, this kiln is ideal for
medium-sized ceramic projects.
We typically bisque fire to 900°C
and glaze fire to 1250°C.
Costs
Bisc Firing Full kiln hire fee £45 per firing.
*Shared kiln hire fee £23 per shelf space per firing (up to 11cm height).
Stoneware Firing Full kiln hire fee £65 per firing.
*Shared kiln hire fee £30 per shelf space per firing (up to 11cm height).
The fee includes technical support, loading and unloading the kiln.
